I’m taking some time off this week for Spring Break and decided yesterday to catch the movie Hidden Figures that I had not yet seen. This is an amazingly powerful movie and I wanted to share a few things that I took home from the movie.
Don’t take no for an answer – when you are really interested in making something happen, you must fight for it. If someone tells you no, ask why and what you need to do to get a yes. Than do it.
Believe in yourself – Take this one all the way to the bank! If we believe we can, we will. If we believe we can’t, we won’t. It’s really that simple.
Support matters – Pull in those that know you and care for you to help you accomplish your dreams. Support is something we all need, so don’t be afraid to ask for it.
If you have seen the movie, share your take aways with us. If you haven’t, run to the nearest movie theater and watch it. It’s worth your time.
