Halloween is over, the costumes are put away, and if your house is anything like most, there’s probably a bowl of candy still sitting on the counter! But what if we turned those leftover treats into something meaningful? Instead of eating every last piece, consider sharing the sweetness. Organizations that support our military, local family shelters, and some Ronald McDonald House programs may welcome unopened candy. You might even check with a local children’s charity or community outreach program. Just be sure to call first, as donation policies vary. Sometimes we think making a difference requires a grand gesture, but kindness can be as simple as sharing a handful of candy. The sweetest part of Halloween might just be what we do with the leftovers.
Lead with advantage!
