Good morning,
I have recently been shopping for a new service and have been impressed by one vendor on the incredible customer service I have encountered, and have been equally disappointed by the lack of customer service from the other. Being in the service business myself, I thought maybe I was over critical, but I decided it was not rocket science on how to treat people that you want a business relationship with, or any relationship for that matter. It’s really stupid simple.
- Treat your customers the way you would like to be treated;
- Stay one step ahead of your customers;
- Be nice to your customers (I know, I shouldn’t even have to say it!);
- Know who your customers are;
- Make sure your customers know who you are;
- Under promise and over deliver;
- Go the extra mile for your customers;
- Give your customers the benefit of the doubt;
- Don’t keep your customers waiting;
- Show your customers you care;
- Follow up with your customers;
- If your customer makes a special request for something, do everything you can to get it for them.
Remember, your competition is waiting to make your customer, their customer!
Make it a great day!
