They say the early bird gets the worm, but that depends on your early, doesn’t it? I have always been a morning person and work out in the morning, mostly because I don’t want to take two showers a day! My morning work outs allow me to plan my days and clear my brain for what lies ahead, and gets me ready to face my clients with clarity and a fresh start!
If your schedule doesn’t allow you to be up early enough to work out and get where you need to be, then you need to fit your work outs in elsewhere.
Today more than ever, working out leads to smart decisions as a leader and time for yourself that is essential in our hectic schedules. As leaders, we need down time to unwind and de-stress. If you don’t take care of YOU, how can you take care of challenges and issues in your company and those of your employees?
So plan YOU workouts like you would any other meeting…….put it on your calendar and make it count!
