This weekend I had the opportunity to spend 5 days in the Texas Hill Country with some great gal pals playing golf and getting away. Fortunately, I had family I could visit there as well, so after a year long quarantine from the pandemic, I took a break.
I didn’t realize how much needed this break was until I was in it.
We have all had a difficult year that we made the best of, but I encourage you, if you have not already taken a break, get out of town, be with those you enjoy being around, let loose and have fun!!!
Here’s just a few things I realized during my break.
- It’s more important than ever to do things you love.
- Girlfriends are the best!
- Treasure your family.
- Get out side and breathe the fresh air.
- Don’t spend time with folks you don’t enjoy being around, it will drain you.
- Do spend your time with people who lift you up.
- Laugh. Often and loud!
- Eat that dessert!
- If you can, hug those you love. Fortunately I was able to get my Covid vaccine, and hugs are great!!!
- Nothing is perfect; and the pandemic changed a-lot of things. Go with the flow.
- Slow down and enjoy the moment.
- Tell your loved ones you love them.
- Life is short. Live each day to the fullest.
Make it a great day!
