The New Year is Full of Promise. Own It.

The Dallas Morning News published a great article on Sunday that I can’t resist sharing.  Below is 21 ways you can shake off 2020 and start fresh.  Commit to it.  What can it hurt?

  1. Invest in some “you” moments when you wake up.
  2. Move.  Do some jumping jacks.
  3. Make your bed.
  4. Channel positivity.
  5. Stop and smell the roses.
  6. Say hello to a stranger.
  7. Eat an apple a day.
  8. Donate blood.
  9. Think pure and simple.
  10. Remember the power of small.
  11. Be nice.
  12. Sleep.
  13. Pray for someone.
  14. Surprise someone with a handwritten note.  (My mother will love this one!).
  15. Say please.
  16. Say thank you.
  17. Give yourself permission to be crabby (with a time limit!).
  18. Be still.
  19. Move.
  20. Write it down.
  21. Be kind.
