What Are You Carrying That You Need to Put Down?

Sometimes the things that weigh us down aren’t on our calendars or our to-do lists. They’re the conversations we keep replaying, the mistake we haven’t forgiven ourselves for, the responsibility that really belongs to someone else, or the need to make sure everything gets done our way. We carry worry about things we can’t control, expectations that no longer serve us, and sometimes even a little resentment we’ve held onto far too long. And the interesting thing is, no one necessarily asked us to keep carrying any of it.

So, as you start this week, ask yourself a simple question: What am I carrying that I need to put down? Maybe it’s something you need to delegate. Maybe it’s a decision you’ve already made and need to stop second-guessing. Maybe it’s an old disappointment, a grudge, or simply the belief that you have to do it all. Putting something down doesn’t mean you don’t care. Sometimes it means you’ve decided to make room for what matters more. You might be surprised how much easier it is to move forward when you stop carrying things that were never meant to come with you.

Have a great week—and may today’s message give you a little advantage.
